The American Pamphleteer
Truth-telling for rebels, resisters, and the dangerously well-organized.1
“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
— George Orwell
Who’s behind this?
Hey there, troublemaker.
If this is your first time stumbling into The American Pamphleteer, welcome.
I’m Lady Libertie — historian by obsession, rebel by necessity, and your guide to surviving authoritarian creep with wit, grit, and the occasional well-timed pamphlet.
I live somewhere between the 18th century and the present day, and I’ve got one mission: to help you stay smart, defiant, and very much awake.
Why this newsletter?
This didn’t start as a media project. It started as a survival tactic.
After watching both parties bend over backwards for billionaires while working people got crumbs and slogans, I hit my limit. The think tanks weren’t helping. The headlines weren’t honest. And the conversations I wanted to be having? Nowhere to be found.
So I lit a match.
The American Pamphleteer was born from one simple idea: that truth-telling is a form of resistance — especially when you say it plain, say it loud, and back it up with receipts.
I’m not here to play pundit. I’m here because I believe everyday people still have power. But we’ve been lied to, manipulated, and divided for decades — and I don’t think we can afford to keep falling for it.
This Substack is for the folks who feel politically homeless, morally furious, and constitutionally obligated to do something about it. It’s history, strategy, rebellion — with just enough humor to keep us dangerous.
The response? Hundreds of thousands of reads, a growing resistance crew, and more than one polite cease-and-desist from powerful people who didn’t appreciate the tone.
What readers are saying
"This Substack is one of the best I've found. Vital information! My partner and I have bought several copies of the Rebel's Playbook and we're passing them around our communities. "
— Kevin S.
“"Everyday when I read your columns I find hope that wit, strength and intelligence are alive and well. "
— Robyn B.
"I only have paid subscriptions to those I’ve found encouraging and inspiring for me personally. And this journey needs both the ones who light fires and those who tend, nurture and fuel. Them that does both are rare…Lady Libertie is one."
— Patrick W.
"Sometimes it feels as if it were written just for me. "
— Christine R.
"You are providing practical tools and guidance to do what has to be done. Thank you!”
— Tammara L.
If you’re ready to ditch the spin and fight smarter, welcome to the resistance.

Thoughtful Weekend Posts — these longform essays aim to challenge orthodoxy, puncture political tribalism, and spark real conversation. They’re meant to expand your perspective, not reinforce your bubble — because resisting fascism starts with thinking for yourself.
