SHOCK! Google marked this article as "suspicious" in my email inbox, in RED!!! WTF?

It could be a coincidence but...

Luckily I know who you are and really appreciate you. Thank you so much✨️

I got this too. Certain political or activist-related terms (like Midnight Riders, which may be associated with resistance movements) might trip Gmail's algorithm. Google scans for patterns that resemble phishing, scams, or controversial topics. By clicking "Looks Safe" in Gmail and adding my email to your contacts, you’ll help “teach” Gmail’s aggressive spam filtering that these are okay.

I get these posts in my email, which just warned me not to click on any links because the file may be compromised. Just sayin.

A few of you have reached out to let me know that my latest American Pamphleteer newsletter, Midnight Riders, is getting flagged by Gmail with a warning that it “seems dangerous.” Just to be clear—there’s nothing dangerous about my emails (unless you count speaking truth to power 😉).

Okay, but Walter Rhein of I'd Rather be Writing had a zoom call that was broken into half way through with porn etc so he closed it down...

This article is AWESOME! So thorough-thank you.

Quick question: I switched from Google to DuckDuckGo and I’m pretty happy with it. I noticed you haven’t listed it and I’m wondering why?

If you’re tired of Big Tech snooping on your every move, DuckDuckGo is a solid escape hatch. It won’t track your searches, build an ad profile on you, or shove creepy personalized results in your face. Plus, it blocks those sneaky third-party trackers trying to follow you around the web. But don’t get too comfy—DuckDuckGo still pulls results from Bing, and your ISP or government can still see where you’re going. If you really want to keep your digital footprint off the radar, layer up with a VPN, Tor, and tracker blockers. Bottom line? It’s way better than Google, but if you want to go full ghost mode, you’ll need a few more tricks up your sleeve.

I've been using it for awhile and I really like it so far. It's the search engine I use for everything, but on my non-Apple laptop I use Firefox as my browser.

****I’m just going to keep putting this truth out into the universe, hoping it spreads and the people wake up.

Curiously DOGE looking in the wrong place…

Net worth of top 1%, End of Year 2001 $ 4.3T, the year GOP irresponsibly began adding to America’s national debt.

Now, net worth of top 1%, End of Year 2024 $49.5T.

Current national debt = $36.5T

Our national debt (future spending money), currently costing Americans $80B/month to carry — it belongs to us.

DOGE looking for lost dollars. The top 1% has it. These monies lifted in decades-long corrupt pay-to-play legislative grift with Congress.

The debt accumulated has wrongly poured from American treasure into wealthiest 1% wallets.

DOGE should not look inside our bloated government infrastructure, though yes, damn it, Congress, spend within your means. Cut the waste and fraud!

And when the oligarchical kleptocrats pay America back, stop the corruption and overspending. Clean bills only. No pork. Term limits too.

Actually get out if you’ve served more than 4 senate terms or 8 congressional terms. Out.

Hey oligarchs. Pay us back now!
